January N' Stuff

Since the month is coming to an end, and honestly i have no idea what this blog is going to be about. i feel like i need to write in it but i dont know what of. I thought of a few titles but i think this is an appropriate title for sure. January definitely has been a crazy month for us here at 525 for sure. its been a drama filled month but also a lot of amazing things have happened here :) overall life is going amazing right now and it happens when you least expect it to. When it does though you can't stop it. Its crazy to see where this crazy journey of things will take you. And honestly who knows where it will, what happens, nobody does sep for the the big man upstairs. Since we dont know you just got to go with the flow of things. let things happen the way they are supposed to happen and just go with it. February is starting off of very eventful as well. My dad and family is flying out from New Hampshire for one person entering the family. Chris and Jammie get married on Friday which is just crazy to me how quick that came. Events like this are always good. Brings family together and what else can you ask for. Family is amazing and will always be there no matter what. I've gone threw a lot done some dumb things, but who hasnt right? well i have no idea where i would be without my family specifically my Mom. I love her to death. She is the strongest lady i know on this earth and  dont know what i would do without her. Were taking family pictures as well which will be exciting, their will be 2 more people added to the Duke/Hawkins clan. If i remember right the last time we took family pictures was right before chris left for his mission and it was my senior year in football. Reason why i remember that so specifically was cuse i have turf burn on my elbows! haha love it. The one thing biggest though that has happened this month is meeting someone new :) and what someone new entering your life does. Things are amazing right now and i wouldnt trade it for anything else. To me its so exciting to see where things are going to take you in life :)

Sushi N' Stuff

The First time I ever tried sushi was my SSG LaGilia at work when he said "quit being a little girl and just have some" ever since then i have fallen in LOVE with sushi! I could honestly eat sushi every day of my life. for one its healthy for you... for the most part and two it taste amazing. Well yesterday i took Angela out again and since i have this LOVE for sushi and she has never had it... i mean duh where else would i take her! We went to i think its called Shakura (i don't know if that's right) and started off with an order of the California Roll just because that's like getting your feet wet. you got to test the water with your toes make sure its warm. Then i ordered the Playboy Roll which i thought was soooo good. very flavorful! She never said she didn't like it but she never said she loved it. its defiantly an acquired taste. something you get used to. I'll just keep taking her to sushi places till she loves it as much as i do. I'm on a set mission here! Over all i had a great day. The night defiantly topped it off but i also talked to an academic counselor about what i want to get my degree in and i have a pretty good idea. i am going to research it a little better to see what I'm getting myself into but I'm pretty excited about it. After that, a math test.... lets just pray i did good on that. Anyways, it was a fun day yesterday. Very glad i got to eat some good Sushi N' Stuff.

Things N' Stuff

A 3 day drill weekend finally complete! after only having a few hours of sleep each night im finally ready to relax and hopefully go to sleep soon. of course after an adventure to walmart! I'm starting to get the hang of this blog thing, coming up with ideas here and there. But i just decided even though second day of the blog world i definitely need to "blog". Every time i think of Blog Spot i always just instantly think of the Social Network after his girl friend dumps him he goes and blogs about her and how much of a... well if you have seen it you know but i wonder if well do people really follow other peoples blogs that much. haha i know missy does considering she might read this at work. Sorry broke your best kept secret of what you do at work. If i sat at the computer desk to i probably would do the same so i cant say much myself.
Drill though today lets just say have been better days. 2 shots later and a blood draw for testing was great. but the huge surprise i get from the Military Dentists is i need all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. For the record, last time i went to the dentist he said i probably wouldnt need them taken out... but i am owned by the military so they say jump and i dont say how high? i just do it no questions asked. Hopefully this will be the start of a wonderful weekend, fingers crossed for sure. Starting it off with a date with a very beautiful lady and of course what else other then a Math Test! what else can you ask for? Personally i could think of a lot like not taking a math test or even some Black Ops time instead but thats college... im sure ill just play Black Ops when im  done with the test! Keep fingers crossed and who knows what magical things might happen this week! Who knows what Things N' Stuff might come up!

My First Thought N' Stuff

So I never really got why people created blogs until the other day. I was talking to my sista Missy J. and she was telling me how she was writing in her blog and just mentioned my name in it. So curiosity got me after reading her wonderful blog (Love ya Miss!) and got me here, now creating a blog. Seems like it would be a good get away when your going through a rough time where you can just type down your feelings on the internet for the world to read. Ok, maybe I wont write down all my thoughts N' Stuff but it seems like a good vent. I wonder do i jot down things like on the old skool TV show Doug starting off with Dear Blog? or simply just begin typing. Seems like a great way for people who care to follow whats going on in life. Maybe even people who are bored one day and decide to read this. What ever the case maybe i hope u find some entertainment in my terrible spelling and punctuations. This is my blog right? so who is there to correct me haha? Hopefully not my English teacher for my online class! Like I say in my about me section, i'm working full time for the Utah National Guard and i'm going to school at Utah Valley University. It keeps me busy but when i'm not doing that I am always with friends. I honestly dont know how much im supposed to write since this is my first official "Blog" and do not yet have the hang of things. I will leave you at this, Life is crazy. When it seems to get worse and worse and nothing will ever get better. It does. You just got to remember to keep your head up when things don't go wrong. Because as much as you don't think this will happen things will eventually go your way. Keep a good attitude.
